CASE STUDY #1: Online Grower Statements

Situation Overview
Growers look to the warehouse to provide updated information on their packouts and statements on an ongoing basis. Traditionally they have received mailed statements and contacted the warehouse directly for updates and additional print-outs.

The Challenge
To allow grower access to online statements while still providing the warehouse the controls they need to audit data before it is published.

Our Solution
As many companies are moving in the direction toward a paperless system, we saw a perfect opportunity to allow growers 24/7, real-time access to view their most current statements online over a secure connection. Although many businesses using the system still provide hard copies of statements, the online system allows growers to log in and to view bulk fruit received by crop year as well as pull reports or print packouts and closing statements by variety, crop year and pool - all in one convenient location.

CASE STUDY #2: Auditor Recorded Document Search

Situation Overview
An Auditor's office in the local government sector has a large database of scanned documents that are associated with property records and is looking for a way to easily search and retrieve new and archived documents.

The Challenge
Integrate with the county's existing third-party document management solution with Compu-Tech's recording software and provide user-friendly access to search the data without compromising speed or security.

Our Solution
This customer chose to secure the system by limiting access to within their local intranet - i.e. not available to the broader public over the internet. Even with large amounts of data, the robust capability of the IBM Power™ server allows users to scan for documents quickly and easily. The application also features a variety of sorting options including auditor's file number, book & page number, date filed, excise affidavit number, grantor / grantee, instrument & date, original auditor's file number, or tax parcel number - providing ultimate flexibility when searching through recorded documents.

CASE STUDY #3: Assessor Real Property Search

Situation Overview
As property values are assessed over time, each recording is logged with the Assessor's office and entered into their database. Property documentation has historically been available in person through your local county courthouse.

The Challenge
Provide secure, online access to assessor's documentation while limiting users to only view information that is public record.

Our Solution
Compu-Tech saw a perfect opportunity to provide public access the assessor's system by creating an online real property search tool. Searches are made easier by allowing users to find properties by parcel number, legal description, street address or map location. Looking at a property for sale? The property search tool provides the full recorded history of assessed value information right at your fingertips.

CASE STUDY #4: Treasurer Real Property Tax Search/Payment Integration

Situation Overview
Similar to Assessor's recorded information, tax history for property parcels has generally been available in person by visiting your county courthouse.

The Challenge
Provide secure, online access to tax documentation and allow the public to pay property taxes online.

Our Solution
Since Assessor's and Treasurer's documents are very closely intertwined, Compu-Tech has made the tax history/receivables available as an add-on module to the Assessor's real property search application. All information about a particular property is displayed within the same interface - publicly accessible to show both the assessed value, tax history, tax receivables breakdown, and delinquent taxes for any parcel within the county. Users can also view tax distribution by district or select tax line items to pay, which links to a third-party payment processing vendor to finalize the transaction.
